Over 400,000 meters managed during 2025, a great team achievement.
At GOservicios, we know that behind water management there is a silent, technical, and constant work that is rarely seen but is essential to ensure system efficiency. One of these pillars is the meter department, which reached a historic milestone in equipment renewal and installation in 2025.
A record worth mentioning
As Alberto Palomar, head of the department, explains, “In the last five years, we have replaced more meters than in the previous eight years. If we take the five best years in our history, we have increased productivity by almost 50%.”
Just in Valencia, in 2025 over 400,000 meters were renewed volume never before achieved. This record reflects the coordinated effort of the teams and the optimization of internal processes.
At GOservicios, we currently manage an ecosystem of 1,200,000 meters across the entire corporate group, of which more than 700,000 are equipped with remote reading technology. This infrastructure allows for more than 5.5 million annual readings on route, a figure that positions us far above the competition in terms of operational capacity.
Technology and innovation in the service of wáter
The magnitude of this work is not only in the numbers but also in the ability to incorporate technology and innovation:
- We have more than 130,000 meters with LoRaWAN technology and thousands more with NB-IoT systems, allowing us to connect any sensor to our platforms.
- We have tools that centralize the management of readings, installations, and renewals.
- And we continue exploring IoT solutions that go beyond the meter: air quality, HVAC, security, and consumption in critical facilities.
Much more than numbers
Achieving this record is not just about quantity. It also means:
- Greater operational efficiency by optimizing resources and processes.
- Reliability in water management, with modern, precise, and connected equipment.
At GOservicios, we believe these results deserve to be shared because they reflect the commitment and talent of our teams. Achievements that, although not always “visible,” are the ones that truly guarantee that water reaches every home safely and efficiently.
